Current Status
From ME2000
As of 28th June, there is a snapshot build for:
- Gateworks Avila 2348-4
- Routerboard RB532
- PCEngines Wrap2C
The build contains the second offical release of the madwifi drivers for atheros cards (0.9.1)
See the Download Page, get the relevant version, gunzip it, and dd or physdiskwrite.exe it onto a 32MB (or bigger) Compact Flash card.
Insert it into your board, and, if necesary, modify the bootloader settings to boot from Compact Flash, then reboot it. Dropbear ssh is running on it, so you can ssh to 10.4.11.5 (historical choice).
- Network Settings in /etc/network/interfaces
- Wireless Settings in /etc/network/wireless.opts
- Master (access point) or Managed (client) mode.
- Distance setting
- TxPower setting
- WEP
- Transparent Bridging with brctl
No fancy front end yet, this is just a basic version to test the CM9 drivers. And it's only madwifi drivers that's on there, along with the drivers for each boards on-board NIC. I hope to add more wireless drivers as the project progresses.
Use 'savesettings.sh' to save settings, and reboot.
